(shelli) What an endearing time we had together last night! Such talent and compassion. This Christ like team has meant such a world of difference to me. Each of you brings forth such incredible talents, skills and heart thumping generosity. I will remember the experience of being with you, hearing you laugh, squeezing together for pictures and cherish the memories for those quiet moments...Thank you. The food was yummy, the company pleasant and conversation touching.
Having my sister here kept me sane! She was such a Godsend. My kids adored her and Lance found her to be the next Joan of Arc. With having had surgery myself, Lance having surgery, Cooper getting croup, his Doctor appt, flu shots for the kids, radiation treatments, being called into the Doctor's office to hear results-hearing I have some cancer cells lurking elswhere and having an infection....made for a challenging week to say the least (Insert scream here). But we survived! Thanks to those who helped prepare my home for Amy, took down my halloween decorations, watched my kids, organized my book shelf, cleaned my bathrooms...exteneded emotional and spiritual support, texted and called etc...
The party was such a help! It gave me something to look forward to and distracted my fatigued mind. This will get better....hoepfully sooner rather than later.
